Sue Smith and Jenny James are the Association's Regional Care Development Adviser (RCDA) working in the Branch area, who have detailed knowledge of the care and management of Motor Neurone Disease. Working very closely with local statutory services and community care providers they is able to provide support and advice to people with MND and their families.

Volunteer Development Co-ordinators (VDC) are regionally based staff who provide help, advice and support to the Branches, Groups and volunteers. They also encourage and help to set up new Branches and Groups. Chris Ellison is the local Volunteer Development Co-ordinator and can be contacted at:

The Association's Helpline offers information and support to people affected by the disease. It is available Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.00pm and 7.00pm-10.30pm. An answering service is in operation at weekends and bank holidays. Calls are charged at local rates from anywhere in the UK.
